Vanishing Point 2: Wildlife of Appalachia

November 21 — January 2

Cumberland artist Logan Hartlaub will be back with dozens of carefully painted miniatures of Appalachian wildlife. Vanishing Point 1, which ran in the winter of 2025, featured birds that the artist had seen in his wanderings. In the 2026 version of the show, you’ll see not only more birds (which are Logan’s passion) but also salamanders, opossums, fish, and even elk. Stay tuned here for updates on this much anticipated show.

American Wildlife Art Competition & Exhibition

The popular American Wildlife Art Competition & Exhibition will be back at the Arcadian in May of 2027. Our Gallery Director, Christopher P. Sloan, and returning juror, celebrated award-winning wildlife artist Carel Pieter Brest van Kempen, bring unmatched expertise to this event, ensuring that winners and participants gain recognition in the field of wildlife art. Their passion for nature makes this exhibition especially attractive to conservation-minded artists since the Gallery will donate 10% of proceeds to a conservation cause of the juror’s choosing. Stay tuned here for more details and the prospectus.
